  • Low-loss feeder cable approved for Telecom use

Huber+Suhner's new low-loss 7/8" cable has been approved by Lucent for use in Telecom cellsite installations. This cable (SD 7/8"LA) has recently been tested in NZ and was found to be superior to comparable products on the market. The LA cable is electrically equivalent to 1-1/4" feeders, making site installations easier than if 1-1/4" cable was used.

The H+S connectors for the LA cable and equivalent connectors from other manufacturers are interchangeable between the different cable types, although a manufacturer match between cable and connector is usually preferred by system owners.

InTELCOM has recently been appointed the NZ Distributor for Audio Processing Technology (APT). The APT audio codecs utilise the world renowned apt- X and also MPEG algorithms to compress broadcast quality audio for both distribution and contribution of audio feeds in a digital network.

RADOX wire and cables for demanding applications
    RADOX Logo

RADOX® is an electron beam crosslinked insulating material developed by Huber+Suhner. RADOX® insulation offers excellent resistance to thermal, chemical, electrical and mechanical loads. Thanks to reduced wall thickness, it also saves weight and space. RADOX® materials enable solutions to be customised to specific solutions.

RADOX electrical cables are used in many applications, from consumer appliances through to Defence and Railway systems. New applications such as Solar System cables and connectors are also now available (see below).

    Radox Solar Connectors

RADOX solar cables are flexible single and multi-core cables specially designed for wiring solar plants. These cables are extremely robust and resist high mechanical load and abrasion. High temperature resistance and excellent weather-proofing charactersitics provide a long service life. Plus the RADOX technology achieves these properties with small cable diameters.

Huber+Suhner solar connectors range from 2.5mm to 6.0mm and feature high current carrying capacity, contact security and wide temperature range. 'T' type branching connectors are also available, and together with RADOX solar cable provide for an integrated solar wiring system.
