High
port density Advanced Ethernet Converter
with up to 4 x 10/100BaseTx user ports,
with performance monitoring
Pandatel’s
advanced Ethernet converter ET-CA is
a device that provides media conversion
between multiple Ethernet electrical
signals (10/100BaseTx) and Ethernet
fibre signals (100BaseFX).
The ET-CA
Ethernet converter has 2 x 10/100BaseTx
interface ports and a single100BaseFX
port for optical transmission.
For higher density applications in
a central
site, a concentration variant of
the ET-CA with 4 x 10/100BaseTx interface
ports can be specified. Optionally,
an additional 100BaseFX port can
be
requested. With double the capacity,
the cost of racks and agents are
reduced making it a cost effective
investment. |

| ET-CE |
|
Elementary
10/100Mbps Ethernet Converter.LAN-to-LAN
connectivity - Converts between 10BaseT/100BaseTx
interface and 100BaseFx interfaces
ET-CE Media Converters are highly
reliable, cost-effective media converters
providing
media conversion between Ethernet
electrical interfaces (10 Mbps, 10/100Mbps,
100
Mbps) and Ethernet optical interfaces
(100 Mbps). In that way you can greatly
extend the transmitting distance
of your Ethernet network. ET-CE Media
Converter can transmit data at wire
speed with low latency. The transmission
distance of 100 Mbps optical interface
may reach up to 40 km. |

| ET-CG |
|
Modular
High-Speed Gigabit Ethernet Converter
and Modem for the Access area
ET-CG
Ethernet converters offer flexible
universal solutions for the connection
of Ethernet networks with broadband
IP backbone systems. The ET-CG supports
three Ethernet bandwidths 10/100/1000
Mbps. Therefore they are applicable
for all types of Ethernet systems
and solutions, and as such represent
safe
investment options for clients. |

| FOBUS |
|
Fiber
Optic Back-up System, appropriate for
redundant optical fibre lines in cases
of emergency
The intelligent fibre optic
back-up system FOBUS functions similarly
to a converter, but is additionally
equipped with a redundant fiber optic
line. This line will automatically
take over data transmissions if an
error occurs within the main line.
Thus, one of the lines (the main
line) is continuously used for data
transmission
purposes, whereas the additional
back-up line can be used for management
and
control/monitoring purposes. |

Converters / Video Converters
| FC-A |
|
Asynchronous
industrial interfaces up to 128kbps
The
modems of the product group FC-A
transfer asynchronous data with a maximum
speed
of 128 Kbps. The standard interfaces
used in the industry can be transformed
by the FC: RS485, RS422 and RS232.
The Fibre Optic Modem FC-A is designed
for different cable types (multimode
/ singlemode) and LED components.
Due to this modular design transmission
distances of up to 30 km can be achieved. |
|
| FMC |
|
Fiber
Optic Mini Converter for industrial
applications
The FMC is a compact and
cost efficient solution for transmission
of asynchronous signals in any environment.
This space-saving alternative to
any other oversized converter card
can
be plugged directly into the DB-25
connector of external devices. The
signal will be converted to fibre
to bridge distances up to 80 km! Power
for this unit can be fed via the
DB-25
plug or via an external power supply.
Typical
applications are the connection of
external devices in several buildings
of one complex to a central system:
Hospitals, universities, enterprises,
industrial companies, … every
campus-like application is possible. |

| FV/FV-S |
|
Video
monitoring applications in factories,
tunnels, traffic surveillance
The Fibre
Optic Video Converters FV have been
specially designed for surveillance
systems requiring seamless transmission
over long distances.
The Fibre Optic
Video Transmitter FV-T (camera
side) converts video signals into light
signals. These light signals are
transferred
over optical fibres to the Fibre
Optic
Receiver FV-R which reconverts
the light signals into electrical signals
and transfers them to the attached
units (e. g. monitors). The units
of the product group FV operate according
to the standard VBS 1 Vpp with
75
?
termination. This specification
fits typical surveillance requirements. |
|
| FV-C |
|
Simultaneous
transmission of Video and Data signals
The
units of the product group FV-C allow
the transmission of video and data
signals via fiber optic, e.g. video
signal and camera control (pan, tilt
and zoom).
Using the FV-C units guarantees
all the advantages of fiber optic
technology: electrical insulation,
galvanic separation,
tap proof as well as long transmission
distances. The units are prepared
for the use of a WDM FibreDoubler,
i.e.
the costs for fiber installation
can be reduced significantly. The
Fibre Optic Converters FV-C are well
suited
for area and building surveillance,
gate, tunnel, traffic and access
control
(e.g. airports, refineries etc.).
According to the requirements transmission
distances
of up to 20 km can be reached. |

| DV/DV-C |
|
Digital
video & data converter from copper
to fibre optic
Pandatel’s new
DV and DV-C series show state-of-the-art
technology for transmission of video
signals. Standard analogue video signals
can be taken to be converted to either
Multimode or Singlemode digital fibre
optic signals. Via light the video
signal
can bridge distances up to 80 km before
it will be re-converted. The DV-C additionally
transports control data for the camera
on a bi-directional basis. Thus commands
from control center to each camera
can be sent, and the acknowledgements
from
the cameras will be received back as
well. The DV-series can also be used
in industrial environments with highest
demands on quality and reliability. |

| GM-F |
|
Flexible
4-wire transmission with HDB3 coding,
a truly cost effective solution
The
4-wire baseband modem GM-F is used
for connecting terminals operating
at data rates of n x 64 kbps (n=
1, 2, 3 ... 31). The device functions
as a bit rate adapter and supports
the frame formats according to ITU-T
G.704. When the framing is not active,
the device is working as transparent2
Mbps converter (n= 32). GM-F modems
are therefore applicable for non-switched
connections and internal links. On
the terminal side, interfaces such
as X.21, V.35, V.36 and Ethernet
Interface
are supported. The device is available
as a standalone or as a rack mount
card. The Ethernet Bridge supports
VLAN and10/100BaseT autosensing. |

| GM-E |
|
GM-E
offers LAN connectivity to E3/T3 data
rates
GM-E devices connect LANs and
set up Internet connections. The
GM-E is a flexible solution with a
broad
functional range, allowing for the
conversion of Ethernet-formatted
data into standard formats at data
transmission
rates within the range of E3/T3.
Small companies can connect their LANs
in
different locations via radio networks
or directly to the Internet, to use
its data without any limitations
of bandwidth or terrestrial lines. |
