The FOMUX C100 can handle up to 8 different input signals, each at a maximum datarate of 2.5 Gbps. Thus, 20 Gbps in total can be transmitted from local to remote site.

All data rates from 100 Mbps to 2.5 Gbps are supported. Due to protocol transparency every signal like i.e. ESCON, Fast Ethernet, OC-12 to OC-48, STM-1 to STM-16 and Gigabit Ethernet can be multiplexed.

FOMUX 4400 is the entry-level product of the new FOMUX 4x00 product line. The solution is a top quality, high performance, multifunctional optical multiplexer, which also provides a very cheap alternative to oversized systems. The CWDM-type System FOMUX 4600 is a solution to optimize the management and utilisation of available capacities in fibre optic networks. The system is capable of operating on a fibre pair or even on a single fibre. The applicable data transmission rates vary within the range of 10 Mbps to max. 2.5 Gbps (regardless of the applied transmission protocol). This makes the FOMUX 4600 CWDM system a reasonable, cost-efficient alternative to complex DWDM solutions.
